Many Bible characters had 聖書に登場する人物の特徴：
1.abusive backgrounds (Rahab, Mary Magdalene, other women who came to Jesus)
過去に虐待された経験（ラハブ、マクダラのマリヤ、イエスの元にきた他の女性達）
2. polygamous backgrounds (Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, Solomon)
一夫多妻の家庭（イサク、ヤコブ、ヨセフ、ダビデ、ソロモン）
3. Sexual episodes that involved serious consequences (Joseph, David),
深刻な結果に導いた性的な経験 （ヨセフ、ダビデ）
4. Difficult marriages (Sarah, Leah, Rachel, and Esther)
困難な結婚生活（サラ、リア、ラケル、エステル）
There must be answers to sexual problems from the Word of God … and there is
神の言葉から性の問題に対する答えが見つかる。本当に！
1. Acknowledge it is an issue by right Bible teaching.
正しい聖書の教えによって本来の問題だということに気付く
(1 Corinthians 6:15-20) Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! (16) Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." (17) But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit. (18) Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. (19) Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; (20) you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
(1コリント 6:15-20) あなたがたのからだはキリストのからだの一部であることを、知らないのですか。キリストのからだを取って遊女のからだとするのですか。そんなことは絶対に許されません。 (16) 遊女と交われば、一つからだになることを知らないのですか。「ふたりの者は一心同体となる。」と言われているからです。 (17) しかし、主と交われば、一つ霊となるのです。 (18) 不品行を避けなさい。人が犯す罪はすべて、からだの外のものです。しかし、不品行を行なう者は、自分のからだに対して罪を犯すのです。 (19) あなたがたのからだは、あなたがたのうちに住まれる、神から受けた聖霊の宮であり、あなたがたは、もはや自分自身のものではないことを、知らないのですか。 (20) あなたがたは、代価を払って買い取られたのです。ですから自分のからだをもって、神の栄光を現わしなさい。
2. Confess to God and believe that ‘the cross is enough for you and your problem’
神様に告白し、「あなたの問題には十字架が十分」であることを信じる。
(1 John 1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(1ヨハネ 1:9) もし、私たちが自分の罪を言い表わすなら、神は真実で正しい方ですから、その罪を赦し、すべての悪から私たちをきよめてくださいます。
3. Share with a leader of the same gender 同性のリーダーに相談する
(James 5:16) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
(ヤコブ 5:16) ですから、あなたがたは、互いに罪を言い表わし、互いのために祈りなさい。いやされるためです。義人の祈りは働くと、大きな力があります。
4.Hold onto the truth (even in the midst of the devil’s lies) 真実にしがみつく（悪魔に嘘を信じるように言われていても）
(2 Corinthians 10:4-5) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (5) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

5. Live a ‘no shame’ life through Jesus イエスを通して「恥のない人生」を生きる
(Isaiah 1:18) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
(イザヤ 1:18) 「さあ、来たれ。論じ合おう。」と主は仰せられる。「たとい、あなたがたの罪が緋のように赤くても、雪のように白くなる。たとい、紅のように赤くても、羊の毛のようになる。
(Isaiah 61:3) To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
(イザヤ 61:3) シオンの悲しむ者たちに、灰の代わりに頭の飾りを、悲しみの代わりに喜びの油を、憂いの心の代わりに賛美の外套を着けさせるためである。彼らは、義の樫の木、栄光を現わす主の植木と呼ばれよう。
