(Daniel 2:1) In the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; his mind was troubled and he could not sleep.
(ダニエル 2:1) ネブカデネザルの治世の第二年に、ネブカデネザルは、幾つかの夢を見、そのために心が騒ぎ、眠れなかった。
(Daniel 2:5-6) The king replied to the astrologers, "This is what I have firmly decided: If you do not tell me what my dream was and interpret it, I will have you cut into pieces and your houses turned into piles of rubble. (6) But if you tell me the dream and explain it, you will receive from me gifts and rewards and great honor. So tell me the dream and interpret it for me."
(ダニエル 2:5-6) えてカルデヤ人たちに言った。「私の言うことにまちがいはない。もし、あなたがたがその夢とその解き明かしとを私に知らせることができなければ、あなたがたの手足を切り離させ、あなたがたの家を滅ぼしてごみの山とさせる。(6) しかし、もし夢と説き明かしとを知らせたら、贈り物と報酬と大きな光栄とを私から受けよう。だから、夢と説き明かしとを私に知らせよ。」
(Daniel 2:19) During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven
(ダニエル 2:19) そのとき、夜の幻のうちにこの秘密がダニエルに啓示されたので、ダニエルは天の神をほめたたえた。
Daniel’s Advantages ダニエルの個性と強み
1. (v4)Strong, healthy, good looking 強く、健康で、かっこいい
2. (v4,17)Showing aptitude for every kind of learning (including language!)
どのような学びでも才能を発揮した。（語学も含めて！）
3.Passed the test of serving in the palace (servant heart, faithful, loyal)
宮殿で仕えるテストを合格した。（仕える心、忠実、誠実）
4. (v17) Could understand visions and dreams of all kinds (2:1-3;16-19;27-28)
色々な種類のビジョンや夢を理解できた。
5. (v19) Gained the favor of the king. 王様に気に入られた。
6. (v20) Ten times better than other national leaders and advisers
他の国のリーダーやアドバイザーよりも10倍優れていた。
Daniel’s true secret key to success was ダニエルの成功への鍵
1.He knew God and His Ways (2 things:- that God knew all things; and wanted to save the people)
神様と神様の方法を知っていた。（２つのこと-神様は全てのことを知っていて、人々を救いたいと願っている）
2.He was confident of God’s Gift on his life 神様から与えられた能力に自信があった。
3.Kept faith and boldness even in a negative situation. ネガティブな状況の中でも信仰と強さを保った。
4.Interpreter of other people’s dreams 人々の夢の読み解いた。
