動くか死ぬか

Sunday 19th July 2009 16:30 - Ps Rod Plummer(2 Kings 7:3-6) Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, "Why stay here until we die? (4) If we say, 'We'll go into the city'--the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let's go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die." (5) At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, not a man was there, (6) for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, "Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!"
(2列王記 7:3-6) さて、町の門の入口に四人のらい病人がいた。彼らは互いに言った。「私たちはどうして死ぬまでここにすわっていなければならないのだろうか。(4)たとい、私たちが町にはいろうと言っても、町はききんなので、私たちはそこで死ななければならない。ここにすわっていても死んでしまう。さあ今、アラムの 陣営にはいり込もう。もし彼らが私たちを生かしておいてくれるなら、私たちは生きのびられる。もし殺すなら、そのときは死ぬまでのことだ。」 (5)こうして、彼らはアラムの陣営に行こうと、夕暮れになって立ち上がり、アラムの陣営の端まで来た。見ると、なんと、そこにはだれもいなかった。(6) 主がアラムの陣営に、戦車の響き、馬のいななき、大軍勢の騒ぎを聞かせられたので、彼らは口々に、「あれ。イスラエルの王が、ヘテ人の王たち、エジプトの王たちを雇って、われわれを襲うのだ。」と言って、
1.They had 3 Options – Do something or die. 彼らには３つの選択肢があった－何かをするか、それとも死ぬか。
A. Go to the people without answers or hope. 答えや希望を持たずに人々の所へ行く
B. Stay where we are. 今いる所に留まる
C. Take an outrageous risk. とてつもないリスクを取る
2.God scares the enemy away as we move in faith.
私達が信仰を持って前進する時、神様が敵を追い払ってくれる
3.Share the blessing with others (even those who didn’t believe with us).
祝福を他の人達と分け合う（私達と一緒に信じなかった人達とでさえ）
