(2 Timothy 3:16 NIV) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, (2 Tim 3:17) so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

(Galatians 6:1)Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.

1.’All Scripture is God-breathed’ 聖書はすべて、神の霊感によるもの
It is powerful 力強い
It is Holy Spirit Breathed 聖霊の息がかかっている
It is the only truth 唯一の真実
It is practical 実践的
(2 Peter 1:20) Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation.

Don’t counsel people who don’t think they are ‘sick’ or don’t honor God’s Word

Otherwise we need to be doing evangelism. その代わりに伝道をする
(Luke 5:31) Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.

1. Sin is the problem 問題は罪
2. There is always a human cause to our problems

(Message) Every part of God’s Word is God-breathed and useful one way or the another – showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting out mistakes, training us to live God’s way, Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.
（メッセージ訳) 聖書はすべて、神の霊感によるもので、わたし達の為になるもの。-真実を表し、反抗心を暴き、間違いを直し、神様の道を歩めるように訓練してくれる。神の言葉を通して、神が与えてくれる働きの為に整えられ、形付けられる。
(Amplified) Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience and for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s Will in thought, purpose and action), so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work
(Amplified訳) 聖書はすべて、神の霊感によるもので（神様の創造性からくるもの） ためになる教えを与えてくれ、罪の意識や確信を与えてくれ、間違いを訂正し、忠実になれるように律してくれ、正しく訓練してくれる。それは、神の人が完全となり、熟達し、すべての良い働きのためにふさわしい十分に整えられた者となるためです。
Change! (repent!) 変われ！（悔い改めて！）
The purpose of any counseling must be ‘change’. The Bible word is repent, which means an internal change of heart and thinking, followed by an external change. Until there is an external change, no repentance has occurred
全てのカウンセリングの目的は、「変わる」こと。 聖書の言葉では「悔い改め」といわれている。これは、心や考え方の内側の変化から始まり、外側も変わっていくこと。外側の変化が現われない限り、本当の悔い改めは起きていない。
Take for example the story of the Prodigal son in (Luke 15) 例として、放蕩息子の話を見てみよう。（ルカ１５章）
He is made aware of his dire problem when he has no money, a dirty stinking job, no prospects, no friends and no sense of God in his life.

V 17 He came to his senses (awareness of his circumstances, but not yet change)
17節 正気になった（状況に気がついたが、変化は起きていない）
V18-19 Determination to go back to his loving father and ask for mercy (aware of the course of action he needs to take, but not yet change)
18-19節 愛する父の元に帰り、赦してもらう決意をする。（自分がとるべき行動に気がつくが、まだ変化は起きていない）
V20 And he got up and went (repentance or change has now occurred)
20節 立ち上がり、父の元に帰った。（悔い改め、変化がようやく起きた）
If we counsel people out of v17 (awareness) or v18 (good intentions of change) only – then change will not occur.
もし17節（気付き）、または18節（変わりたいと思うこと）だけで人々をカウンセリングしてしまったら、変化は起きない。
Counsellor - Only found in the Bible referring to the leader’s wise words and to God Himself.
カウンセラー： 聖書の中では、リーダーの知恵のある言葉や神様自身としてのみ表現されている。
(Isaiah 9:6) For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
(イザヤ 9:6) ひとりのみどりごが、私たちのために生まれる。ひとりの男の子が、私たちに与えられる。主権はその肩にあり、その名は「不思議な助言者、力ある神、永遠の父、平和の君」と呼ばれる。
This Hebrew word is ya’ats which means to give advise and guidance
ヘブル後では、ヤアツと言われており、アドバイスや助言を与えるという意味。
(John 14:26) But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
(ヨハネ 14:26) しかし、助け主、すなわち、父がわたしの名によってお遣わしになる聖霊は、あなたがたにすべてのことを教え、また、わたしがあなたがたに話したすべてのことを思い起こさせてくださいます。
This Greek word is parakletos is only used of the Holy Spirit. This word is Parakletos is only used 4 times and means a defense lawyer called alongside to give the right words at that time.
ギリシャ語で、パラクレトスは聖霊を表す時のみに使われている。聖書の中では4回しか使用されていない。その時にふさわしい言葉を話す為に、被告側弁護士が呼ばれるという意味で使われている。
Counsel – only used of advice or guidance カウンセリング- アドバイスや助言をすることとしてのみ使われている。
Counselling – Not found in the Bible カウンセリングという言葉は聖書には登場しない。
Counselling Ministry or Gift – Not found in the Bible
カウンセリングミニストリーや賜物（与えられた能力）も聖書の中には登場しない。
We must use the Word of God to bring the following 4 things
以下の４つものをもたらす為に神の言葉を使う必要がある。
1.Teaching what God’s Word actually teaches 神の言葉が教えていることを教える
Teaching is making people aware of what God’ Word says about wrong thoughts and behavior. It never condones or excuses the person’s wrong actions, attitudes or thinking. It doesn’t try to ‘comfort’ the person , but to challenge to change
教えるということは、神の言葉が間違った考えは態度について何をいっているのか人々に気付かせること。その人の間違った行動、態度や考えを大目にみない。その人を「慰める」目的ではなく、変わるようにチャレンジすること。
This must be done in the Holy’s Spirit’s power and love. ‘Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ’. (Eph 4:15)
これは、聖霊の力と愛によってできる。「むしろ、愛をもって真理を語り、あらゆる点において成長し、かしらなるキリストに達することができるためなのです。」（エペソ4:15）
1. Conviction. This is a Holy Spirit action. 確信-これは聖霊の力によって起こる
2. Correcting. This brings godly advise. It includes an outline of expectations or outcomes. It will involve giving Bible passages to memorise and use. It will involve homework.
正す：神様の教えに従った助言。ある程度の結果を期待すること。その人が暗記し、活用できる聖書箇所を与えることも含まれる。その人に宿題を与えること。
3. Training in righteousness is helping to build in a great lifestyle, a Biblical worldview, and a future hope. It builds towards God’s destiny.
正しく訓練することは、最高の生活、聖書に基づいた考え方、将来の希望を築くことを手伝うこと。神様の使命に向かってその人をたてあげる。
