(Genesis 15:1) After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward."

1.Moses to Joshua モーセからヨシュアへ
(Deuteronomy 31:6-8) Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (7) Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their forefathers to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. (8) The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

2.Joshua Without Moses モーセがいなくなった後のヨシュア
(Josh 1:6-10) "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. (7) Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. (8) Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. (9) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." (10) So Joshua ordered the officers of the people:
(ヨシュア 1: 6-10) 強くあれ。雄々しくあれ。わたしが彼らに与えるとその先祖たちに誓った地を、あなたは、この民に継がせなければならないからだ。 (7) ただ強く、雄々しくあって、わたしのしもべモーセがあなたに命じたすべての律法を守り行なえ。これを離れて右にも左にもそれてはならない。それは、あなたが行く所ではどこででも、あなたが栄えるためである。 (8) この律法の書を、あなたの口から離さず、昼も夜もそれを口ずさまなければならない。そのうちにしるされているすべてのことを守り行なうためである。そうすれば、あなたのすることで繁栄し、また栄えることができるからである。
(9) わたしはあなたに命じたではないか。強くあれ。雄々しくあれ。恐れてはならない。おののいてはならない。あなたの神、主が、あなたの行く所どこにでも、あなたとともにあるからである。」 (10) そこで、ヨシュアは民のつかさたちに命じて言った。
3.Joshua to The Next Generation ヨシュアから次世代へ
(Josh 10:25) Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you are going to fight."
