(ヨハネ 20:24-29) 十二弟子のひとりで、デドモと呼ばれるトマスは、イエスが来られたときに、彼らといっしょにいなかった。(25) それで、ほかの弟子たちが彼に「私たちは主を見た。」と言った。しかし、トマスは彼らに「私は、その手に釘の跡を見、私の指を釘のところに差し入れ、また私の手をそのわきに差し入れてみなければ、決して信じません。」と言った。(26) 八日後に、弟子たちはまた室内におり、トマスも彼らといっしょにいた。戸が閉じられていたが、イエスが来て、彼らの中に立って「平安があなたがたにあるように。」と言われた。(27) それからトマスに言われた。「あなたの指をここにつけて、わたしの手を見なさい。手を伸ばして、わたしのわきに差し入れなさい。信じない者にならないで、信じる者になりなさい。」(28) トマスは答えてイエスに言った。「私の主。私の神。」(29) イエスは彼に言われた。「あなたはわたしを見たから信じたのですか。見ずに信じる者は幸いです。」
(John 20:24-29) Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. (25) The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” (26) And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” (27) Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” (28) And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” (29) Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
1. 信じる生き方と信じない生き方 Believing and un-believing
(ヘブル 11:3) 信仰によって、私たちは、この世界が神のことばで造られたことを悟り、したがって、見えるものが目に見えるものからできたのではないことを悟るのです。
(Hebrews 11:3) By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Faith starts from your desire to believe
(マルコ 9:23-2４) するとイエスは言われた。「できるものなら、と言うのか。信じる者には、どんなことでもできるのです。」(24) するとすぐに、その子の父は叫んで言った。「信じます。不信仰な私をお助けください。」
(Mark 9:23-24) “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” (24) Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
2.信じる人になる Becoming a believer
A. 神様を信じよう Believe in God
（ヘブル 11:6） 信仰がなくては、神に喜ばれることはできません。神に近づく者は、神がおられることと、神を求める者には報いてくださる方であることとを、信じなければならないのです。
(Hebrews 11:6) And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
B.神様にある自分を信じよう Believe your potential in God
(出エジプト 4:10-11/新共同訳) それでもなお、モーセは主に言った。「ああ、主よ。わたしはもともと弁が立つ方ではありません。あなたが僕にお言葉をかけてくださった今でもやはりそうです。全くわたしは口が重く、舌の重い者なのです。」（11） 主は彼に言われた。「一体、誰が人間に口を与えたのか。一体、誰が口を利けないようにし、耳を聞こえないようにし、目を見えるようにし、また見えなくするのか。主なるわたしではないか。
(Exodus 4:10-11/NKJV) Then Moses said to the LORD, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” (11) So the LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD?
(1コリント 15:10a) ところが、神の恵みによって、私は今の私になりました。
(1 Corinthians 15:10a) But by the grace of God I am what I am.
C. 神様の人々を信じよう Believe in God’s People
(ローマ 12:3b-5) 私は、自分に与えられた恵みによって、あなたがたひとりひとりに言います。だれでも、思うべき限度を越えて思い上がってはいけません。いや、むしろ、神がおのおのに分け与えてくださった信仰の量りに応じて、慎み深い考え方をしなさい。(4) 一つのからだには多くの器官があって、すべての器官が同じ働きはしないのと同じように、（5） 大ぜいいる私たちも、キリストにあって一つのからだであり、ひとりひとり互いに器官なのです。
(Romans 12:3b-5) Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. (4) Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, (5) so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.

(詩篇 1:1-3） 幸いなことよ。悪者のはかりごとに歩まず、罪人の道に立たず、あざける者の座に着かなかった、その人。(2) まことに、その人は主のおしえを喜びとし、昼も夜もそのおしえを口ずさむ。(3) その人は、水路のそばに植わった木のようだ。時が来ると実がなり、その葉は枯れない。その人は、何をしても栄える。
(Matthew 4:4) Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

- Feed Others 他の人のニーズを満たしてあげたい
