Sunday 24th May 2009 16:30 - Ps. Rod Plummer(Luke 17:12-19) As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance (13) and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!" (14) When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed. (15) One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. (16) He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him--and he was a Samaritan. (17) Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? (18) Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" (19) Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well."
(ルカ 17:12-19) ある村にはいると、十人のらい病人がイエスに出会った。彼らは遠く離れた所に立って、(13) 声を張り上げて、「イエスさま、先生。どうぞあわれんでください。」と言った。(14) イエスはこれを見て、言われた。「行きなさい。そして自分を祭司に見せなさい。」彼らは行く途中でいやされた。(15) そのうちのひとりは、自分のいやされたことがわかると、大声で神をほめたたえながら引き返して来て、(16) イエスの足もとにひれ伏して感謝した。彼はサマリヤ人であった。 (17) そこでイエスは言われた。「十人いやされたのではないか。九人はどこにいるのか。(18) 神をあがめるために戻って来た者は、この外国人のほかには、だれもいないのか。」 (19) それからその人に言われた。「立ち上がって、行きなさい。あなたの信仰が、あなたを直したのです。」
All 10 Lepers healed without pre-conditions 十人全てのらい病人が条件なしで癒された
Jesus healed all who came to him. NO conditions – just believe
イエスは自分の所にやって来た人を全て癒した。何も条件なしで－ただ彼ら信じるだけで
1 Leper Was Healed and Thankful ひとりのらい病人は癒されて、そして感謝した
-Wants more blessing もっと祝福されたい
-Even through opposition, decided to follow Jesus 反対があったけれでも、イエスに従う決断をした
-Healed and ‘Sozo’ (made completely well) 癒された、「SOZO」（完全なる癒し）
9 Lepers Were Healed and Unthankful 九人のらい病人は癒されたが、感謝しなかった
-Got what they wanted at the moment その時に欲しかったものを手に入れた
-Blocked from more blessing しかしたくさんの祝福から自分達を遠のけてしまった
-They are still loved, 彼らはまだ愛されていた
-Healed but not made completely well. 癒されたが、完全なる癒しではなかった
(John 5:14) Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, "See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you."
(ヨハネ福5:14) その後、イエスは宮の中で彼を見つけて言われた。「見なさい。あなたはよくなった。もう罪を犯してはなりません。そうでないともっと悪い事があなたの身に起こるから。」
(Luke 17:15-16 / The Message) ‘one of them, when he realized that he was healed, turned around and came back, shouting his gratitude, glorifying God. He kneeled at Jesus’ feet, so grateful. He couldn’t thank him enough – and he was a Samaritan.

(John 5:2-13) Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. (3-4) Here a great number of disabled people used to lie--the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. (5) One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. (6) When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, "Do you want to get well?" (7) "Sir," the invalid replied, "I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me." (8) Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." (9) At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath
(John 5:10-13) and so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, "It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat." (11) But he replied, "The man who made me well said to me, 'Pick up your mat and walk.'" (12) So they asked him, "Who is this fellow who told you to pick it up and walk?" (13) The man who was healed had no idea who it was, for Jesus had slipped away into the crowd that was there.

(ヨハネ福 5:10-13) そこでユダヤ人たちは、そのいやされた人に言った。「きょうは安息日だ。床を取り上げてはいけない。」（11） しかし、その人は彼らに答えた。「私を直してくださった方が、『床を取り上げて歩け。』と言われたのです。」 (12) 彼らは尋ねた。「『取り上げて歩け。』と言った人はだれだ。」 (13) しかし、いやされた人は、それがだれであるか知らなかった。人が大ぜいそこにいる間に、イエスは立ち去られたからである。
Key Question 鍵となる質問:- ‘Do you want to get well?’「本当に良くなりたいのか？」
Didn’t Jesus know the man’s need? Yes, but sometimes we don’t know what we want?
イエスはその人のニーズを知っていなかったのか？そう、でも私達は自分で何が欲しいのかが分からない時がある？
(James 2:17-18) In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
(18) But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
(ヤコブ 2:17-18） それと同じように、信仰も、もし行ないがなかったなら、それだけでは、死んだものです。 (18) さらに、こう言う人もあるでしょう。「あなたは信仰を持っているが、私は行ないを持っています。行ないのないあなたの信仰を、私に見せてください。私は、行ないによって、私の信仰をあなたに見せてあげます。」
Principles to Getting well 良くなるための原則
1.We need to take responsibility when we have done something wrong
間違った事をした時に、自分で責任を取らなければならない。
2.We are not responsible for what someone else does to us; but we are responsible to how we respond to it.
他の人があなたに対してした事は、あなたには責任はない：だけど、それにどう反応するかは私達の責任。
3.Blaming others shows we still haven’t taken responsibility.
他の人に責任を押し付けたり責めるのは、あなたが責任を取っていない証拠です。
4.We need to put our faith in Jesus for our complete healing.
完全に癒されるようにイエスに信仰をおいていかなければならない。
