皆で捧げよう！
-Lessons from a Young Boy with 5 Loaves & 2 Fish ５つのパンと２匹の魚の少年から学ぶ
(John 6:5-13/NLT) “Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him. Turning to Philip, he asked, “Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?” He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do. Philip replied, “Even if we worked for months, we wouldn’t have enough money to feed them!” Then Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up. “There’s a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish. But what good is that with this huge crowd?” “Tell everyone to sit down,” Jesus said. So they all sat down on the grassy slopes. (The men alone numbered about 5,000.) Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks to God, and distributed them to the people. Afterward he did the same with the fish. And they all ate as much as they wanted. After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, “Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.” So they picked up the pieces and filled twelve baskets with scraps left by the people who had eaten from the five barley loaves.”
(ヨハネ 6：5-13) イエスは目を上げて、大ぜいの人の群れがご自分のほうに来るのを見て、ピリポに言われた。「どこからパンを買って来て、この人々に食べさせようか。」もっとも、イエスは、ピリポをためしてこう言われたのであった。イエスは、ご自分では、しようとしていることを知っておられたからである。ピリポはイエスに答えた。「めいめいが少しずつ取るにしても、二百デナリのパンでは足りません。」弟子のひとりシモン・ペテロの兄弟アンデレがイエスに言った。「ここに少年が大麦のパンを五つと小さい魚を二匹持っています。しかし、こんなに大ぜいの人々では、それが何になりましょう。」イエスは言われた。「人々をすわらせなさい。」その場所には草が多かった。そこで男たちはすわった。その数はおよそ五千人であった。そこで、イエスはパンを取り、感謝をささげてから、すわっている人々に分けてやられた。また、小さい魚も同じようにして、彼らにほしいだけ分けられた。そして、彼らが十分食べたとき、弟子たちに言われた。「余ったパン切れを、一つもむだに捨てないように集めなさい。」彼らは集めてみた。すると、大麦のパン五つから出て来たパン切れを、人々が食べたうえ、なお余ったもので十二のかごがいっぱいになった。
1. GIVE WITH PURPOSE
目的をもって捧げる
-5 Loves & 2 Fish is Big Lunch for young boy! Came to hear Jesus with Purpose, prepared to give!
5つのパンと2匹の魚は少年にとって大きなお弁当。彼は目的をもってイエスの話を聞きに来て、捧げる準備をしていた。
-Need Purpose in our Tithes & Offerings! Tithing is not a cost, it’s an investment!
献金にも目的を持つ必要がある。十分の一献金は、出費ではなく、投資！
-Bible instructs us to be purposeful in our Giving!
聖書は、私たちが目的をもって捧げるよう教えている。
(1Timothy 6:18/NLT) “Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.”
(1テモテ6：18 NLT訳からのオリジナル訳) 「良いことをするためにお金を使うよう教えなさい。良い働きで満たされ、困っている人に寛大でありなさい。いつも他の人にシェア出来るよう準備していなさい。」
2. BLESSING GOES TO THE GIVER
祝福は捧げる人に注がれる
-5000 Men & Families. ‘Young Boy’ wasn’t the only person there with Food…
5000人の男性と家族。食べ物を持っていたのは、「少年」一人ではない。
-‘Young Boy’ only one who came forward (volunteered) with food.
「少年」一人だけが、自ら進んで食べ物を持ってきた。
-Blessing goes to the Giver!
祝福は捧げる人に注がれる！
-King David; towards the end of his life;
ダビデ王の人生が終わる頃。
(Psalm 37:25/NLT) “Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.”
(詩編37：25) 私が若かったときも、また年老いた今も、正しい者が見捨てられたり、その子孫が食べ物を請うのを見たことがない。
3. NEED TO ‘GIVE UP’ TO GIVE!
捧げるために、諦める必要がある！
-The act of giving involves sacrifice.
捧げる行為は、犠牲も伴う。
-We cannot add Generosity to our Life; Generosity must replace something in our Lives!
人生に寛大さを加えることは出来ない。寛大さは、人生の何かと交換しなくてはいけない。
-Young boy gave everything!
少年は全てを捧げた！
-For ‘Give up’ sacrifice, look to Jesus!
「諦める」という犠牲は、イエスを見よう！
(Philippians 2:7/GNT) “Instead of this, of his own free will he (Jesus) gave up all he had, and took the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness.”
(ピリピ2：7) ご自分を無にして、仕える者の姿をとり、人間と同じようになられました。人としての性質をもって現れました。
-Giving is not just a measurement of our Generosity; Giving is a reflection of our submission to Jesus!
捧げることは、私たちの寛大さを図っているだけではない。捧げることは、私たちのイエスへの従順の現れでもある。
4. GIVING LEADS TO PROSPERITY!
捧げることは繁栄に繋がる！
-Generosity leads to Prosperity (Not the other way around!). 寛大さは繁栄に繋がる(逆ではない！)
(Proverbs 11:25/GNB) “Be generous, and you will be prosperous. Help others, and you will be helped”
(箴言11：2/グットニュースバイブルからのオリジナル訳) 「寛大になれば、あなたは繁栄します。他人を助けなさい。そうすれば、あなたも助けられます。」
-Young Boy; Knew he had to give to Prosper!
少年は繁栄するため捧げる大切さを知っていた。
-Opposite of Prosperity=Adversity
繁栄の反対は逆境・困難
-God is the SOUSE of Prosperity (Health/Joy/Wisdom/Finances)
神様が繁栄の源(健康/喜び/知恵/財政面)
(Matthew 6:33) “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
(マタイ6：33) だから、神の国とその義とをまず第一に求めなさい。そうすれば、それに加えて、これらのものはすべて与えられます。
-God designed us to prosper! Giving leads to prosperity!
神様は私たちが繁栄するように造ってくれた！捧げることは繁栄に繋がる！
