(ルカ 6:31) 自分にしてもらいたいと望むとおり、人にもそのようにしなさい。
(Luke 6:31) Do to others as you would have them do to you.
本当に人のためにするとはいったいどういうことか？どうしたら本当に人の為にできるのか？
What does it mean to do things for others. How can we really put that into action?
1. 自分のタンクを満たす Fill your tank
多くの人は、自分が満たされていないうちに人に良いことをして満たされようとする。
タンクが満タンでいないと、人は必ず見返りを得ようとする。何かで自分のタンクを満たそうとするから。
Many people try feel satisfied by doing good to others when their tanks are not full.
When their tanks are not full, people try to get something back from others. That is because they try to fill their tanks by something.
(2コリント 9:8) 神は、あなたがたを、常にすべてのことに満ちたりて、すべての良いわざにあふれる者とするために、あらゆる恵みをあふれるばかり与えることのできる方です。
(2 Corinthians 9:8) And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2. 小さいことからする Start with something small
(ルカ 16:10) 小さい事に忠実な人は、大きい事にも忠実であり、小さい事に不忠実な人は、大きい事にも不忠実です。
(Luke 16:10) Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
大きいヴィジョンや、目標を持つことはよい。しかし、私たちが今できることは、小さなこと。
It’s great to have a big vision and goals. But what we can start from doing small things today.
小さなことことからするとは、大きなことをするための準備を意味する。
By starting with small things, we can prepare ourselves to do something big.
3. 命を使って生きる Use your life
(1コリント 6:20) あなたがたは、代価を払って買い取られたのです。ですから自分のからだをもって、神の栄光を現わしなさい。
(1 Corinthians 6:20) you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
イエスの様に生きるとは、自分の命を使って人々の為に生きること。そのとき私たちの人生は使命に生きている。
Living for Jesus means that we use our lives to live for others. Then we are living for God’s destiny.
