Get your vision back and make a fresh start again!
(創世記 13:14-17) ロトがアブラムと別れて後、主はアブラムに仰せられた。「さあ、目を上げて、あなたがいる所から北と南、東と西を見渡しなさい。わたしは、あなたが見渡しているこの地全部を、永久にあなたとあなたの子孫とに与えよう。わたしは、あなたの子孫を地のちりのようにならせる。もし人が地のちりを数えることができれば、あなたの子孫をも数えることができよう。立って、その地を縦と横に歩き回りなさい。わたしがあなたに、その地を与えるのだから。」
(Genesis 13：13-17）The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. (15) All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. (16) I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. (17) Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.”
(創世記15：5) そして、彼を外に連れ出して仰せられた。「さあ、天を見上げなさい。星を数えることができるなら、それを数えなさい。」さらに仰せられた。「あなたの子孫はこのようになる。」
(Genesis 15:5) He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
1. 神様はビジョンを無くしたものに、ビジョンを与える God gives vision to those who lost vision
-神様はビジュアルを使い、再びアブラハムにビジョンを見せる。
God used a visual image and showed vision to Abraham again.
(ヨブ 14:7-9) 木には望みがある。たとい切られても、また芽を出し、その若枝は絶えることがない。たとい、その根が地中で老い、その根株が土の中で枯れても、水分に出会うと芽をふき、苗木のように枝を出す。
(Job 14:7-9）“At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. (8) Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, (9) yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant.
2. 新たな期待・希望を持つことを止めない
Do not give up having new hope and new expectations
-アブラハムは神様の新しい約束に期待を持ち続けた。
Abraham kept having hope by holding onto God’s new promise.
(イザヤ 43:19) 見よ。わたしは新しい事をする。今、もうそれが起ころうとしている。あなたがたは、それを知らないのか。確かに、わたしは荒野に道を、荒地に川を設ける。
(Isaiah 43:19) See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
-私たちが新しいものに期待を持っていて、同じタイミングで神様が新しいものを運んできた時に私たちは飛躍的な成長を見せる。
We can grow dramatically when we have an expectation for new things and when God brings new things in our lives.
3. 常にビジョンを見続ける
Keep your eyes focussed on your vision
(ピリピ3：14) キリスト・イエスにおいて上に召してくださる神の栄冠を得るために、目標を目ざして一心に走っているのです。
(Philippians 3:14) I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
-神様はアブラハムに星を見せた。それは星がいつもアブラハムの上にあるから。
God showed Abraham stars, because stars are always above Abraham.
(使徒2:25) ダビデはこの方について、こう言っています。『私はいつも、自分の目の前に主を見ていた。主は、私が動かされないように、私の右におられるからである。
(Acts 2:25) David said about him: “‘I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
